Scope 

This Privacy Notice applies in relation to Adventure Mountain Park website, application(s) and services and explains our personal data processing activities when you:

Personal data we collect

We most commonly collect the following: 

  • Name, email address and telephone number 
  • Data provided via enquiry/ booking forms on our website or when you otherwise communicate with us

Most of the data is provided by you. In some occasions (e.g. corporate clients/events) we may receive information about you from parties acting on your behalf (e.g. employer /organisation). 

As the type and extend of personal data we process depends on the relationship we have with you, please contact us if you wish to be provided with detailed information about the personal data we hold about you.  

Children Data  

We do not knowingly collect personal data about individuals under the age of 18 nor we provide our services without parental/legal guardian prior written consent.  In such cases, age, date of birth and/or national ID number may also be collected as may be necessary for consent and/or age verification purposes. 

How we use personal data and legal basis 

We will only use personal data for legitimate purposes and within the parameters permitted by law. Most commonly this will be where processing is necessary in order to: 

  • Offer / provide our services including to assess and tailor services to address your needs,
  • Perform contractual obligations or in order to take certain steps prior to entering into a contract
  • Communicate with you including to handle enquires (e.g. for information, booking, etc.) 
  • Inform you of updates, offers, events, etc. (e.g. when subscribing to our newsletters)
  • Protect vital interests (e.g. when someone’s physical or mental health or wellbeing is at urgent or serious risk)

We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes without your prior consent.  

Who we may share personal data with  

We may share personal data with third parties insofar as may be reasonably necessary for achieving legitimate purposes. Such third parties may be for example: 

  • service providers who we may use to support our business offering technological solutions and support including file storage/record management and payment facilitation services, 
  • Professional advisors (e.g. legal, auditors, accountants) 
  • Emergency services in the event of an emergency 

We may also disclose personal data where required to do to so by law, in connection with a request from a public or government authority or to protect our rights or property. 

How long we keep personal data 

For as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected or any retention period that may be required by law or other compelling legal matters. In determining the appropriate retention period, we take into account legal requirements, the amount, nature and sensitivity of the data in question, potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and whether we could achieve the purposes at hand through other means. 

Online Booking enquiries 

To facilitate online booking enquires, we collaborate with trusted third parties who support us in administration of booking services. When you enquire to book online through our website, the processing of personal data follows users’ voluntary registration which is subject to the privacy policies and terms of that third party. This website includes links to third-party sites/services (e.g. social media). Clicking on those links may allow third parties to process personal data about you. We do not control these third-party sites/services, and we are not responsible for their processing activities.  Such third parties operate independendly from us and have their own privacy policies and terms which we strongly advice you to review before using their sites or services. Right of Access - to learn whether we are processing your personal data and ask for copies of it. 

Right to Rectification - to ask for incomplete/inaccurate personal data we hold about you to be rectified.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) - to ask us to delete personal data we hold about you.

Right to Restriction of Processing -  to ask us to limit how we can use your personal data.

Right to Objection - Where the legal justification for processing your personal data is our legitimate interest, you may object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to Portability – ask us to transfer the personal data you gave us to another party or to you. 

Right to withdraw consent - If you have consented to our processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. This will not however affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before consent withdrawal. In this case, we will no longer process your data unless we have a legal basis for doing otherwise. 

Right to file a complaint – that is to bring a claim before a competent data protection authority.
